The livepro New Authors Course is a 2-day online training session for current clients who have new authors coming on board or for existing authors who need further support. This two-day course is designed to equip livepro authors with the skills and knowledge they need to create effective best-practice content using livepro. With a limit of 8 people per course, our small group setting ensures personalised attention and hands-on learning. The agenda for the course includes:
Day 1 Knowledge management fundamentals: Editing with livepro, breaking down knowledge types, writing best practice document notes, communicating with announcements, understanding templates/categories, and managing feedback.
Day 2 Knowledge management best practices: Applying styles and standards, best practice writing tips, authoring structured work instructions, authoring rockets for complex decision-making, setting up governance frameworks, and designing home pages.

Full course: $500 + GST per person

General
How many people can I have attend from my organisation? Each course will have a capacity of 8 people on a first in first-served basis.
How often will each course be available? We will assess each course based on demand to determine the frequency. All courses will be announced in Communities. At this stage, these will be run quarterly.
I have registered for the course now what? Once registered you will receive a confirmation email. A livepro team member will then reach out with the invitation links.
Do I have to attend the full 2-day course? We highly recommend that you register for the full course unless the person is highly confident in their understanding of the fundamentals. Options to do one day only will be available.
Is the course online or in-person? The session will be run through Microsoft Teams online.
What will need to bring to the online course? You will just be required to have access to a computer, a unique livepro site, login, and password will be set up for each participant.
Does livepro still do private training specialised for our organisation? Yes, we can still organise personalized training, this is priced differently. Please reach out to ollie.vesey@livepro.com for more information.
Billing
Is there a discount if we have more than 1 person from the same organisation attend the course? A 30% discount will apply for each additional author from the same organisation.
How will we be billed for the course? The livepro accounts team will send an invoice which is to be paid prior to the commencement of the course.
